While on my quest to make money as a freelance writer I bumped into the controversial Essay Writers !
Now, I use the term 'controversial' very lightly and so should you. You see, the reason for me mentioning 'controversy' is the fact that there is evidence online which speaks of Essay Writers in a very poor light. Blog and forum posts abound with writers giving negative opinions regarding Essay Writers and for a variety of reasons.
Some of these rants include things like non-payment for work, while others maintain that they are total scammers. This is not cool to hear,when you make money as a freelance writer,you need to write for people who are willing to keep their end of the bargain, and pay up!!
Still other writers are horrified that Essay Writers expects its freelance writers to compile essays,theses and homework assignments for clients who don’t have time...or just cant be bothered, to do the work themselves. These freelancers feel it goes against their principles to write essays for students and receive payment for it!
While there is indeed a plethora of rants AGAINST Essay Writers, many of them are quite old, some at least a year or more. Perhaps they were simply teething problems that Essay Writers were experiencing at the time...and hopefully by now they are all ironed out.
I must admit to also finding equal amounts of POSITIVE mentions. There are writers out there who are perfectly happy with all aspects of Essay Writers and who do not have a single bad word against them.
Therefore, armed with all this intriguing info, I decided to join up with them and draw my OWN conclusions!After all, when making money as a freelance writer,one always needs to explore the smallest opportunity.
I went over to their webpage and had a look around. From reading the FAQs etc I learned that they offer many assignment options and that you can choose your own workload...perhaps deciding to work hard and write many assignments one after the other- or choosing to do one every now and then.
This sounds great, because the life of anyone trying to make money as a freelance writers life is seldom cut and dried!! Indeed, your free time varies greatly and at times, you have NONE of that luxury at all. One is often busy with several small projects all at the same time. So its great that Essay Writers allow some flexibility!
After further fact searching I joined up. The sign-up form was relatively easy to understand and I quickly filled in all my info. I then received an email from them to say I must verify my email address by clicking the link included.
I did so, expecting the usual run-of-the-mill email verification notice...but no, that was not the case.
To my surprise, I was immediately whisked off to another page, which instructed me to complete an application test!
Well, I began to feel panicky, as my mind was in that lazy Sunday state, lol...not actually feeling very bright and sparky! Still, I had little choice but to complete the test in front of me, which only a minute or so and was of the 'choose the correct answer' variety.
I was then given another test, which I completed with 6 minutes to spare. After that, they thanked me for applying and said that they would inform me whether my application had been accepted or not.
Now, I await the outcome with bated breath. Perhaps they will prove an asset in my attempt to make money as a freelance writer,maybe not. Time will tell! :)
